Pepto-Bismol is sponsoring the infamous 4th of July Hot Dog eating contest, held in Coney Island Brooklyn. Makes a lot of sense since those dudes/dudettes are going to be downing about 30-55 hot dogs just in one sitting. "It will be the first stomach remedy product associated with the event. By attaching its name to the ultimate in overdoing it, Pepto, which is owned by Procter & Gamble, may have found a receptive audience.
