Cong Ly is a very consistent authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Every time we went the taste are the same. My personal favorite there is the Grilled Prawn Vermicelli Bun- a cold vermicelli dish topped with fresh herbs, Nuoc Cham and freshly grilled jumbo prawn. (not shown in pic) Perfect for summer.
Shown in the above and below pics are Seafood Noodle soup ($6.00), Hu Tieu My Tho Dai ($5.75), Gui Cuon Summer Roll ($3.75) and Chanh Muoi ($1.50). The Seafood Noodle soup comes with a very clear simple broth and quite fresh seafood- Shrimps, Squid and Imitation Crab. Taste very healthy.
The Hu Tieu My Tho Dai- a noodle soup with clear round mung bean noodles, pork, shrimp, bean sprouts and pork-based broth, is a specialty of My Tho- a town two hours south of Hoi Chi Minh city in the Mekong Delta. The soup base is sweet and fragrant. My only complaint is the bowl is too small or maybe too much noodle in the bowl, results in the noodle soaking up all the broth very fast.
Their Gui Cuon Summer Roll is freshly made from each order that makes it very fresh and great. You know sometimes you got those pre-made one that the rice paper wrap got all hard, that never happens here.
If you feel adventurous, try the Chanh Muoi- a special Special Preserved “Salty Lemon” drinks originated from the indigenous ethnic Khmer minority living in southern Vietnam in the Mekong River delta. This drink is traditionally a Khmer Krom remedy for upset stomach, sore throat and dehydration. You can order it either with plain water or seltzer water.

The noodle soup portions here are generally smaller than other Vienamese restaurants in C-Town.
The noodle VS soup ratio is off which makes the broth got soaked up by the noodle very fast. Hope they can give me more broth.
