Love this place! I come here all the time for all my Japanese food desires, the girls are friendly and helpful for those in need of assistants like myself. There is very large cold section where one can find delicious take-out Japanese food, bento boxes, sushi and sashimi. But my favorite of course are the huge selection of Japanese cookies, Pocky, crackers and chocolate items, I think because it is very similar to the things I grew up with in Korea.
I went to the store looking for some snacks however didn’t have the chance to sample all the hot food (sad) but some of the things I did get to sample are rice ball ($1.25) with tuna mixed in salt soy sauce & mayonnaise all centered on rice. I thought it was going to be weird but instead it turned out to be great and very filling. Also got sweet snack made of mochi on a stick ($.99) coved in soy sauce base. I opened the package and inside are 3 packages of dry seaweed, it was foreign at first but this too I ended up liking.
