"The Third Annual Vendy Awards event is an Iron Chef-style cook-off with guest participation. Each of the five finalists will be positioned with their carts around the location, cooking for the guests and for the esteemed judges. Beer and wine will be plentiful; tables and chairs will be scattered about for the food-weary. Appetizing music will be provided by the finest NYC street and subway musicians. There will also be a raffle and an exhibit on the history of vending in NYC. And at the end of the night, after a short ceremony, one happy vendor will receive the Silver Vendy Cup."
