Never in my life did I ever think I would find a cute little coffee shop like Klatch, located on 9 Maiden Ln between Broadway & Cortlandt St, in the Financial District.
Klatch is a tiny coffee shop that is almost too cute to exist where it does, but many coffee lovers and locals all find their way home. When I got to Klatch my stomach was not feeling so go, so I opted for a smoothie ($3.90 + tax) instead of coffee. Usually I am all about the caffeine but the banana strawberry with yogurt /soymilk sound mighty good. Once I ordered I noticed I was short a quarter, tried to pay with my card but its cash only, luckily the counter guy was so nice he said it was no big deal.

They buy their products locally too- Porto Rico coffee, Doughnut Plant doughnuts and sandwiches make from Balthazar bread. The price are not very cheap ($2 a cookie) but I would rather go here than $tarbucks.
While waiting for the smoothie I noticed a sea of clam and relaxations unlike most Financial District people, like there was an invisible fog over Klatch. It was nice made people seem like they were not at work.
